Iglesia de Santa María de Celón(Celón)

Heritage property movable material of the Church of Santa María de Celón, located in the parochial district of Celón, in the Asturian council of Allande, which was declared a provincial historical-artistic monument on September 28, 1973. This architectural work dated of the twelfth century, it is of great interest not only in relation to the materials and techniques
used during this period, but also with respect to the historical, cultural and stylistic content that inhabits the mural representations made by the Master of Celón during the 16th century. Said Master was of great significance in the mural artistic manifestations developed in southwestern Asturias during the last third of the century.

Bien patrimonial material mueble de la Iglesia de Santa María de Celón, localizada en el distrito parroquial de Celón, en el concejo asturiano de Allande, la cual fue declarada monumento histórico-artístico de carácter provincial el 28 de septiembre de 1973. Esta obra arquitectónica datada del siglo XII, es de gran interés no solo en relación a los materiales y técnicas
empleados durante este periodo, sino también con respecto al contenido histórico, cultural y estilístico que habita en las representaciones murales realizadas por el Maestro de Celón
durante el siglo XVI. Dicho Maestro supuso una gran trascendencia en las manifestaciones artísticas murales desarrolladas en el suroccidente asturiano durante el último tercio de siglo.
