Description

This tiny hermitage is very close to that of Santa Bárbara, on the same road a few meters above, over the ravine where the spring of San Agustín springs.

It is a very small building, with a hexagonal floor plan, whitewashed stone walls and covered by a very flattened bell-shaped dome made of tile. On the door, that is of wood of a single leaf with peephole, it was painted in big blue characters the name of the holder on the whitewashed of the walls.
In the niche of its interior there is an oil painting of the titular saint, signed by S. Romero. There are also other oil paintings, flowers, candles and various objects of worship.

The feast of St. Augustine is celebrated in the town with a mass in the morning and an evening procession with the transfer of the image that is kept in the parish church, which is also taken to the spring to be blessed.
