It is a temple located in the ascent to the Hermitage, of octagonal plant with perimeter chapels. It is an Asset of Local Relevance.

It was built between 1739 and 173. Its prominent location on a mound near the town center, with a zigzagging Calvary on the way up to the hermitage. The casilicios are of square plant and representations of the passion appear in ceramic pieces.

The facade is decorated with two square pilasters in its corners, which rise up to the cornice. The door is linteled, ironed with relief of crosses.

The interior is of neoclassical style. The entrance is straight, but opens into an oval. The walls are decorated with attached columns. It is covered with a blind dome.

It has four side chapels, two on the gospel side, dedicated to the Virgin of the Forsaken and the Holy Trinity, and two on the epistle side dedicated to the Virgin of Fatima and Santa Cecilia.

Due to its situation, with a deteriorated and neglected appearance, it was restored in 2001.

At the time of the festivities of Alfarrasí, which take place in the penultimate week of August, the image of Christ is lowered from the chapel to the town.
