Description

The parish church of San Jerónimo dates from the 18th century. It is a church with a single nave, covered by a half-barrel vault, with lunettes and supported between buttresses.

Inside, the main altar stands out, with paintings by Joaquim Oliet, a neoclassical painter born in Morella in 1775. The church was opened for worship in 1727.

The door is paved and framed by ashlars.

From the outside you can see an imposing bell tower with a quadrangular floor plan, four sections, made of brick with masonry and stone plinth, where the bells are located.
The casilicios are square and there are representations of the passion in ceramic pieces.

Undoubtedly, it is a very nice church, different from the rest, which should be visited if you travel to Alfarrasí.
