Monumento homenaje a las Fallas de Alzira.(Alzira)

This monument, which pays homage to the Fallas and falleros of Alzira, consists of two bronze statues representing a fallera and a fallero, essential elements of an internationally recognized festivity.
The Fallas of Alzira are declared a Feast of National Tourist Interest and since 2016 they are part of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
The figures are located in the center of the city, in the Plaza Mayor, without pedestal and are fixed to the ground. In this way they can live directly with the public, they can be seen up close and even touched and photographed, which also contributes to being a very important tourist element for our City.
This sculptural bronze group, realistic finish, with a profusion of its own details and characteristic of fallera clothing, is the work of the riverside sculptor, Jaume Espí.
The monument was inaugurated on September 7, 2018.

Este monumento, que rinde homenaje a las Fallas y falleros de Alzira, está formado por dos estatuas de bronce que representan a una fallera y a un fallero, elementos esenciales de una fiesta internacionalmente reconocida.
Las fallas de Alzira están declaradas Fiesta de Interés Turístico Nacional y desde el año 2016 forman parte del Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad.

Las figuras están ubicadas en el centro del casco urbano, en la Plaza Mayor, sin pedestal y están fijadas al suelo. De esta forma pueden convivir directamente con el público, se pueden ver de cerca e incluso ser tocadas y fotografiadas, lo cual contribuye también a ser un elemento turístico muy importante para nuestra Ciudad.
Este grupo escultórico de bronce, de acabado realista, con profusión de detalles propios y característicos de la indumentaria fallera, es obra del escultor ribereño, Jaume Espí.
El monumento fue inaugurado el 7 de septiembre de 2018.
