Description

A new church was built between 1804 and 1810 under the direction of Pascual Ribera in Ionic order, with a cloister, transept, dome and six side chapels (one of which is reserved exclusively for the veneration of the tomb of Blessed Inés de Benigánim, who lived in this convent, where she died at the age of 71); This chapel simulates a Renaissance pantheon, it is made of Carrara and Macael marble, which guard the tomb of gilded bronze and curved glass where her relic rests.
Next to this church is the Convent of the Discalced Augustinian Nuns.
