A small Gothic-style palace built in the 16th century around a central square courtyard with a residential character that includes a defensive tower from a bygone era, probably of Muslim origins. The construction is the central element that presides over the town square, with more importance in the urban planning than the church itself.
The Palace consists of two parts, the main building, in Gothic style and built around a central square courtyard, which is from the sixteenth century and the tower, prior to the rest of the building and probably of Arab origin. It is unknown who built it, it was linked to the manor of Begida and the Bellvis family until the mid-nineteenth century and later to the Viscounts of San Germán and the Colomer family, the current owners.
In 2003 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest with the category of monument.
Palacete de estilo gótico articulado en torno a un patio cuadrado central, construido en el siglo XVI con carácter residencial que incluye un torreón defensivo de época pasada, seguramente de orígenes musulmanes. La construcción es el elemento central que preside la plaza del pueblo, con más importancia en el ordenamiento urbano que la propia iglesia de la localidad.
El Palacio consta de dos partes, el edificio principal, de estilo gótico y construido alrededor de un patio cuadrado central, que es del siglo XVI y la torre, anterior al resto del edificio y de probable origen árabe. Se desconoce quién lo edificó, estuvo vinculado al señorío de Bégida y a la familia de los Bellvis hasta mediados del siglo XIX y posteriormente a los Vizcondes de San Germán y a la familia de los Colomer, actuales propietarios.
En el año 2003 fue declarado Bien de Interés Cultural con categoría de monumento.
