Description

Neoclassical in style, dating from the 18th century, it has a Latin cross plan with a single nave and transept, covered by a barrel vault and a straight chancel.

Above the transept there is a half-orange dome inserted in an octagon visible from the outside. The nave is divided into chapels, three on the Gospel side and four on the Epistle side. There is an underground chapel under the right arm of the transept, and the sacristy is located above it.

The altar has a three-storey altarpiece with neoclassical decoration, with Solomonic columns and the image of the Assumption in its central bay made with a semicircular arch, the image of the Crucifixion appears in a rectangular bay in its upper part, which is decorated with scrolls, vases, cornucopias, mirrors, red, blue and golden marble.
