Description

A space that screams snippets of the history of Castellón. An enclosure in which beliefs and tributes are opposed. With religious celebrations and homage to the reprisals of a Civil War that maintains discrepant colors, and of those who forged different paths to the culture of the time in which they lived. The 'Nou Cementeri', as the San José Cemetery was known for almost a century, was inaugurated on May 12, 1861. A time when Castellón cries out for modernity, which takes shape in the construction of the Valencia railway line - Sagunto - Castellón (1868).
