Description

The church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, is a church located in the municipality of Emperador in the province of Valencia, Spain. It is an Asset of Local Relevance with identifier number 46.13.117-001.

It is a simple construction with a single facade, the one at the foot, the rest of the building being limited with other buildings. This facade has a single body, with an arched door (an arch is a constructive element with a curved or polygonal guideline, which saves the open space between two pillars or walls transmitting all the load that it supports to the supports, by means of an oblique force that is called thrust) of discharge and, on it, a niche with the image of the patron saint. The façade ends with a belfry with a double opening and triangular pediment.3 The interior has a single nave measuring 15 x 6 m. The ceiling is made with soffits, with a large plaster oval in the center, on which there is a painting of Our Lady of the Rosary executed around 1920.
