Behind the hermitage there is a pine forest with a good representation of the Mediterranean forest that continues along a forest track. Now in open, sunny terrain, we enter the domain of aromatic and ruderal plants.
Once you have walked a few dozen metres to the right of the track, you have the option of going up a narrow path that will take you to an old forest lookout post where you can enjoy excellent views of the mountains of La Safor and the Castle of Bairén.
Detrás de la ermita hay un pinar con una buena representación del bosque mediterráneo que continúa por una pista forestal. Ya en terreno descubierto, y de solana, entramos en el dominio de las plantas aromáticas y ruderales.
Una vez hemos caminado unas decenas de metros a la derecha de la pista, tenemos la opción de subir por un estrecho sendero que nos llevará a un antiguo puesto de vigilancia forestal donde podremos disfrutar de unas excelentes vistas de las montañas de La Safor y del Castillo de Bairén.
