Museum dedicated to the native sport of Pilota Valenciana. It was inaugurated on December 16, 2003 by the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Francisco Camps and the Mayor of Genovés, Emilio Llopis.

The Museum is a meeting point for all lovers of the sport of Pilota. The Museum contains photographs of the most important players and personalities of this sport as well as the most important events in the history of Pilota. You can also contemplate numerous elements of the game (balls, thimbles, gloves, t-shirts, posters announcing the games, etc.), audiovisual material, recreations of trinquetes and a complete library with written material on the sport of Pilota Valenciana available for consultation.

Pilota is part of one of the most genuine traditions of La Costera. Genovés is a town where the oldest sport of all those practiced in the Valencian territory is intensely lived. Cradle of great players such as Sarasol and Paco Cabanes "El Genovés", the latter considered the best pelota player of all time.

Valencian pilota is a traditional game that dates back to the Middle Ages, a period in which the existence of trinquetes is documented, as well as games in the streets of towns and cities. The Pilota Museum collects the historical legacy related to the game of Valencian pilota, its research, conservation and dissemination through exhibitions and other activities.

Articulated around the world of pilota, you can observe its historical evolution, as well as the various peculiarities in the way of hitting with the hand. It also has an exhibition of the different kinds of pilota, as well as the clothing, protectors and gloves used to practice this sport. There is also a representation of the workshop of the craftsman Enrique Álvarez, called racó del pilotari, which reflects the manual elaboration of the pilota. In addition, the museum has the incentive of being built next to the trinquete of Genovés, with which it communicates and which is part of the visit.
