Description

The ceiling of the chancel is a star-shaped vault, while the naves are covered with a ribbed vault and vaults with lunettes in the side chapels.
The masonry is reinforced with ashlars at the corners and buttresses. After the restoration, it was found that the vaulting of the vaults is made of brick. The construction system is in the Gothic tradition, while the façade is one of the best examples of the Renaissance.

In the 18th century, most probably in 1730, a remodelling was carried out that gave the interior a Baroque imprint, the pilasters were decorated with attached columns; columns with gilded plant motifs in the lower third, fluted shafts and composite capitals. A ceramic plinth was placed around the church. These alterations also affected the façade, respecting the façade, a mixtilinear finial with pyramids was added.

On the Gospel side, tangent to the church, the Communion Chapel was built in the 18th century. It can be accessed from the third section of the church. It has a Greek cross floor plan with a central dome over a drum and is decorated with neo-baroque paintings made after the Civil War.

At the foot of the church is the square bell tower with a bell tower with diagonal arches and topped with a lantern.
The main doorway at the foot of the church is worth mentioning. It is divided into two sections; the lower section has a central arch with a marked line of imposts flanked by two pilasters on each side. The second section has stipe-like supports that support the entablature and between which there are three venerated niches.
