The current building replaces the original 14th century church, built thanks to the archdeacon Pedro de Esplugues, founder of the manor of La Pobla. The church we find today dates from the late 16th and early 17th century, of which we can see its Renaissance façade. Inside the parish church there are valuable works of art in the form of paintings, sculptures, gold and silver work and textiles that are an example of the wealth of heritage that has been preserved.
El edificio actual reemplaza el templo original del siglo XIV, construido gracias al arcediano Pedro de Esplugues, fundador del señorío de La Pobla. La iglesia que encontramos a día de hoy se fecha hacia finales del siglo XVI y principios del XVII, del cual observamos su fachada renacentista. En el interior de la parroquia se conservan valiosas obras de arte en forma de pinturas, esculturas, orfebrería y textiles que son ejemplo de la riqueza patrimonial conservada.
