Description

It is a building with a single nave bell tower. The original temple dates from the 15th century (1461), and the present one, dedicated to San Lorenzo Mártir, was built on top of it.

The bell tower was built in the same year as the parish nave. The bell tower, of square plan, located to the right of the temple, begins with an ascending body in the interior, with a perimeter stairway and continued by the body of the bells, this one, decorated by Corinthian columns in the sides and with a window for the bells. Under one of them is located the stone clock on the main facade, and is topped with a large balustrade with eight windows copulé.

From the origins of its construction it must have had four bells, one of the documents indicates that it had a baroque bell of 1740, now replaced by the average of the Manclús house of 1955, possibly because it was thrown out of the bell tower.

Currently the parish has four bells, one of them of French origin, "Paula", cast in 1920 in Morez Du Jura. Two others of Valencian origin, "Sant Llorenç" and "Maria Lorenza del Roser" cast in 1955 and 1963 respectively, were commissioned to fill the two windows that were left empty during the war. The bell named after the patron saint of the municipality, "Sant Llorenç", has the following epigraphy in Valencian: Sant Llorenç ruega por nosotros. The last of the four bells, "Cristo de la Protección" was cast in Gajano (Cantabria) in 1992 to complete the original set of four bells. Between 1975 and 1984 the bells were automated.
