Description

The Alquería de Tallada was built in 1748, and together with the disappeared Palacio de los Tallada, was the seat of the manorial jurisdiction for the meeting of the Municipal Council, prison and warehouse of the proportion of crops corresponding to the feudal rights.

Since the definitive disappearance of the feudal rights in 1837, the farmhouse lost, logically, the functions inherent to the barony of the place and its main purpose was to serve as a mere warehouse, although it also maintained the condition of residence of a day laborer of the annexed lands or of mere tenants. It also housed, at least for much of the twentieth century, the units or public schools for children of the early grades. In this way it has been able to be maintained as an inhabited place or with functions of agricultural warehouse until 1965 approximately.

The farmhouse of Tallada is considered as an Asset of Local Relevance within the legal framework that regulates the regional law and integrates the catalog of protected properties that complete other buildings that the council has incorporated into its planning rules for recovery and citizen use.
