Description

It is known as the Palace of the Centelles or Palace of the Counts of Oliva and was built in the fifteenth century around 1449. It is currently owned by the Counts of Daya-Nueva and Villamar. Vicente Dasí Puigmoltó of the family of the Marquises of Dos Aguas was named in 1892 as the 1st Count of Daya Nueva (a town located in Alicante). The palace has passed through different owners, from Francisco Borja, Miguel Catalá de Cerveiro to Vicente Dasí Lluesma, VI Marquis of Dos Aguas. It is a palace of Gothic origin, which can be seen reflected in its stone arches at the entrance, its inner courtyard with different openings and balconies and a hallway with glass. Inside there are several halls, the first floor, the semi-basement and two upper floors. Currently the palace is in a state of abandonment and deterioration.
