Villa Amparo(Paiporta)

Villa Amparo is a residential building that was owned by a Valencian bourgeois family, a mixture of neoclassical style and iron architecture. It is located in the municipality of Paiporta, in the province of Valencia, just a few hundred metres from the old Valencia road. It was built in 1918. It was the summer home of the Olcina family. Since 1998 it has been included in the Catalogue of the General Plan of Paiporta, with morphological protection. The villa is currently in a state of serious deterioration. This work aims to make the villa known by means of a historical study of it and its surroundings in order to understand the importance of the building in question.

Villa Amparo es un edificio residencial que fue propiedad de una familia burguesa valenciana, mezcla de estilo neoclásico y arquitectura del hierro. Ubicado en el término municipal de Paiporta, provincia de Valencia, a escasos cien metros de la antigua carretera de Valencia. Su construcción se fecha en el año 1918. Fue la casa veraniega de los Olcina. Desde el año 1998 se encuentra incluida en el Catálogo del Plan General de Paiporta, con protección morfológica. Actualmente la villa se encuentra en un acuciante estado de deterioro. El presente trabajo pretende dar a conocer la villa mediante el estudio histórico de la misma y de su entorno para poder entender la importancia del edificio en cuestión. https://riunet.upv.es/handle/10251/167417
