Description

It was built at the beginning of the 18th century and, recently restored, it has a good appearance.
It is a typical mountain hermitage, rustic, small and completely free-standing, built of masonry with a tiled roof over which rises a semicircular belfry made of bricks. The gable roof skirt forms the roof of a porch, delimited by a wall with a lean-to and supported by eight unequal columns with a diminished shaft and very primitive Doric capitals. The entrance door is made of wood, like a gate, flanked by two large windows protected by bars.

The interior is a single rectangular nave with a rough brick floor, divided by a perpendicular arch that rests on attached pilasters and supports the wooden gable roof. The chancel is covered with a ribbed vault with plaster ribs that start from corbels. Suspended on the left wall is a pulpit with a wooden railing. The altar is made of masonry, and behind it there is a beautiful Renaissance altarpiece and a carved image of the Immaculate Conception.
The patron saint festivities are held in summer, from 13 to 15 August, in honour of San Miguel and La Purísima.
