Description

The first two sections of the bell tower have a band separating them, while the third has four framed windows with semicircular arches. The roof is delimited by a balustrade with pinnacles at the corners. The tower has an interior staircase leading to the bell room. On the roof there is a cross with a weather vane and the image of Saint Joseph.

Until the restoration in 2010, the only existing bell was installed with an iron sow from the Manclús foundry and mechanised with a continuous flight motor and electro-magnet.

The image of the patron saint of the town, San José, is the work of the sculptor Venancio Marco Roch; an image which was awarded a Gold Medal at an international exhibition held in Madrid in 1907.

The Tossalet Church is a temple with eight chapels and a good bell tower, although the current roof is not the original one, which collapsed in 1972. It is worth mentioning the elegant façade of this building, which is very interesting for its balance and for the wise combination of well-ordered classicist elements and with a noble coat of arms over the entrance door.

The church's bell tower is made up of three sections. As a curiosity, there is an image of San José on the wind arm of the Veleta.

The date of the bell called "Maria" is from 1950, it was restored in 2010. The sponsors are Na Regina Sebastià and Vicente Copovi.

The bell called "San José" dates from 2010, being an anonymous donation.
