Description

This tree was commonly known as "L'Om de Traver" by the locals. According to oral tradition, it was planted at the end of the 19th century in the area of Mas de Traver. Its location next to a garden well (nowadays disappeared), has always been a claim to celebrate Easter country outings in the shelter of its shade.
This specimen is found at a distance of about 60 meters from the Túria River. Throughout its history it has overcome the flooding of the Túria River (such as the one in 1957), the threat of the great fires that have occurred in its vicinity (such as the Vallesa in 1994) and above all the anthropic actions related to the Traver's PAI and the urban processes that threatened its habitat in the early 21st century.

On November 7, 2005, it was declared a tree of local interest through a Municipal Ordinance. And in 2016 it became part of the Catalog of Monumental Trees of the Valencian Community with number 707
