Description

Molino de la Villa, one of the oldest in the region, dating from the 17th century. It had the coat of arms of the Villa Real de Ademuz in stone on one of its façades (it was plundered a few years ago) and all the machinery remains intact, although the building is in very poor condition.
It is located on the outskirts of Vallanca, so access on foot is easy; it is also possible to visit it by car along the agricultural road that runs in front of the mill. There are many mills scattered throughout the hamlets of the region. Vallanca, after its appointment as a Royal Village in the privilege granted by King Charles II at the end of the 17th century, had the right to have its own mill, and so the Molino de la Villa was erected, located next to the waters of the river Bohiges.
The Molino de los Bizcos is currently in a poor state of repair and partially covered by vegetation. It is located on the Cuesta de El Molino, a few dozen metres from the access to Vallanca along a path. El Molino de Abajo is in a good state of conservation. It is interesting from an architectural point of view due to its maintenance of traditional techniques and materials, but it also has the singularity of its complex sump and drainage system, a true work of engineering.
