Description

Small sculptures in human height appeared in the regional center on the occasion of the bicentennial anniversary of the world famous writer. The figures, located on the alley, have no pedestals and therefore, according to the authors, should be perceived as something close and achievable.
The alley with sculptures of Gogol's heroes was opened in Poltava on April 1, 2009. It includes eight figures:
"Vakula", sculptor - Vyacheslav Gutyrya.
"Solokha the witch", sculptor - Serhiy Oleshko.
"Theft of the moon", by Anna Rasinska.
"Nose", by Yuriy Oliynyk.
"Taras Bulba", sculpture by Vyacheslav Kuzkiv.
"Sorochinsky Fair", by Mykola Telizhenko.
"Young lady", sculpture - Volodymyr Korchmar.
"Mykola Gogol" - the work of Volodymyr Protas.
