The aim of the festival is to protect and promote the traditional cultural heritage in such forms of its expression as dance, song, music, folk crafts, games and fun through the integration meetings of folk groups from different countries; the formation of aesthetic taste in the younger generation and education of respect for the traditional culture of the Ukrainian people and the peoples of the world.
Festival events take place in the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Lutsk Castle, Theatre Square, Lutsk Palace of Culture and Avangard Stadium.
Метою фестивалю є охорона і популяризація традиційного культурного спадку у таких формах його вираження як танець, пісня, музика, народні ремесла, ігри та забави через інтеграційні зустрічі фольклорних колективів різних країн; формування естетичного смаку в підростаючого покоління і виховання в молоді поваги до традиційної культури українського народу та народів світу.
Фестивальні дійства відбуваються у Свято-Троїцькому кафедральному соборі, Луцькому замку, на Театральному майдані, в Палаці культури міста Луцька та на стадіоні «Авангард».
